
SeaMountain was formed in October 2003 and builds on the experience of its founder. Michael Smith has over 20 years of marketing experience in financial services and the travel industry.
For five years he worked with British Airways culminating in his appointment as a Director of British Airways Global Financial Services Limited. Michael also managed partnerships for BA’s Frequent Flyer programme.
These included multi-million pound Travel Insurance and co-branded Credit Card partnerships as well as global car hire companies and hotels, including Avis Car Rental and Starwood Hotels.
Michael has an MBA from the Strathclyde Graduate Business School, together with Banking and Marketing qualifications.
