In the past few years airlines have really started to understand that they are retailers. First it was ancillary revenue, then a-la-carte fees and now these are being marketed together to customers as merchandised products.
Back in 2007, ARAC was the original Ancillary Revenue event for airlines. In 2011, we’ve updated this to the Airline Merchandising Conference (AMC) to reflect the growing focus on selling to customers in a more sophisticated way.
